About Janet Kerley, CHMM:

Janet is the Lead Pb Trainer for the Santa Fe Community College EPA Approved Lead Training Program (#NAT-RV-I-19212-I-EN). She has over 20 years experience in hazardous material management and training for a wide variety of highly hazardous industries. Ms Kerley was the Primary Liaison for the Academy of Certified Hazardous Material Managers to the ANSI Z490 Committee which prepared the standard: Criteria for Accepted Practices in Safety, Health and Environmental Training (ANSI Z490.1-2009).
She is an OSHA Authorized Instructor for General Industry Standards and a Certified Hazardous Material Manager.
She uses her knowledge of Adult Learning Principles, enthusiasm and experience to make her training classes an interesting and entertaining experience for all attendees. You don't fall asleep in her classes!

Implementation of Renovation, Repair and Painting Rule

To accomodate for lack of training providers,
EPA is delaying enforcement on:
1. Violations of RRP Rule firm certification requirement until October 1, 2010.
2. Individual renovator certification if the person has applied to enroll in or has enrolled in a training class by September 30, 2010.
3. All Renovators must complete training by December 31, 2010.

So, at least get signed up for training by September!
